Sometimes, I delay doing something.  Then when I finally do it – I end up kicking myself for not doing it sooner.  You know this feeling?!?  Well, I am kicking myself today.

Today, I finally joined the multi-monitor club for my IT work.  Yep, to date, I have always used a single monitor – no, please don’t laugh or mock me.  But today I connected my trusty laptop (my main work PC) to another monitor and used a screen switcher and the Windows 7 extended screen mode to give me two screens.  Oh, what a difference.

Even in the short time I have been using it, I can see my productivity going through the roof.  So much so, that I am going to replace my 2^nd monitor with a new larger monitor with the biggest size and at the highest resolution my money can buy.

If like me, you have been stuck in the one monitor mode, do yourself a favour and invest in a 2^nd (or 3^rd) big monitor – you really won’t regret it.
